Although this is a large group, Hurtigruten’s mission matches surprisingly well with Cordova’s ideal tourist and ethos. This vessel itself is one of the very first HYBRID cruise ships, with an eco-tourism model, and an onboard research laboratory. They also have a foundation set up to help boots-on-the-ground organizations in the towns they visit offset the footprint of their tourism. |
