Cordova Chamber is looking for a part-time Program Assistant June-August 2022, with the possibility of extension. 15-20 hours per week. Hours are flexible. Primary position tasks:

  • – Administrative support: database management, visitor & member correspondence, board meeting support, filing, light bookkeeping, reporting, payroll, and other tasks as assigned
  • – Program & event support: areas of economic development, destination marketing, quality of life, and business support

Qualifications:

  • – Strong attention to detail while working towards goals
  • – Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • – Basic analytical and strong organizational skills
  • – Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while multitasking
  • – Computer literacy, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • – Money-handling experience preferred
  • – Basic knowledge of accounting preferred
  • – Bookkeeping or payroll experience or knowledge preferred
  • – Office experience preferred
