ONLINE BUSINESS DIRECTORY LISTING
Your business will be listed in the Chamber’s Business Directory. This Online directory is highly trafficked by travelers, prospective group leaders, event planners, visitors, and those looking for lists of lodgings, eateries, tours, event spaces, shopping options, and all the other amazing businesses in Cordova.
BROCHURE SPACE AT THE VISITOR CENTER
If your business has menus, brochures, business cards, or other types of printed info, make sure to drop off a stack at the Visitor Center. This brochure rack is frequented by hundreds of visitors and locals every year and is a prime piece of advertising real estate for your business!
SHOPPING & DINING GUIDE
The Chamber publishes an official Shopping and Dining Guide 3 times a year, Shorebird Festival, Summer, & Fall/ Fungus Festival. All chamber members with Shopping, Dining, Online, and Service Businesses who sign up to be included are welcome to be listed in the guide. The guide includes a business name, opening times, and location on the included map.
RECOMENDATIONS
The Chamber fields calls every day with people asking for technical & business services, lodging, catering, tours and other recommendations. By being a member of the chamber you automatically get placed on our recommendations list!
AMHS TRANSPORT ADVOCACY
The Chamber is consistently working to make sure Cordova and its businesses have frequent reliable service on the Alaska Marine Highway
COMMUNITY REPRESENTATION
The Cordova Chamber is proud to represent our town on both a state and national level. We are honored to recieve recognition for our town and the incredible place that it is.
SHOP CORDOVA FIRST CAMPAIGN
The Campaign began in 2015, utilizing custom artwork and fun slogans to encourage locals and visitors to “anchor” their business in Cordova. The campaign has since expanded to include the Shop Cordova First Passport, Cordova Shopping & Dining Guide, and community event promotions.
REGENERATIVE TORUISM
This strategy addresses tourism impacts holistically, from community perspectives as well as environmental. It works together with and builds up the local ecosystem and cultures as well as the current industries and businesses through tour offerings that promote cultural revitalization, environmental restoration, hyper-local spending, and the growth of regenerative industries.
BLUE ECONOMY PROJECT
This program supports the growth of Cordova’s Blue Economy by supporting ocean-based businesses through collaborative marketing that is supported through Meet & Greet events each year. These gatherings give businesses an opportunity to share their products with a broader audience and educate the public about Cordova’s Blue Industries.
