Lamppost Decorating
We love seeing Cordova businesses Shine, especially during the holiday season! That’s why we are hosting Cordova’s annual Holiday Lamp Post Decorating.
This is a FREE advertising opportunity for your business, so make sure to take full advantage!Â
- Sign up to decorate: November 1st-12th
- Decorating Begins: November 13th
- Decoration Completion Deadline: Nov. 30th
- Tear down deadline: January 8th
- Decorations must be put up and taken down on time.
- No inappropriate language or images
- Your decorations cannot inhibit foot traffic in any way or have a risk of falling on people or property.
Q- Is this a contest?
A- This is a free advertising opportunity for your business or a fun activity for your family, not a competition this year.

MOONLIGHT MADNESS
The chamber’s “Shop Cordova First Campaign” event, Moonlight madness, is a way to facilitate the opportunity for Cordovans to shop for their Christmas gifts in town rather than online. You can Use this opportunity to tell Cordova you’ve got what they need!
DECEMBER 8TH, 15TH, & 22ND- FROM 6-9 PM
Think of Moonlight Madness as Cordova’s own Black Friday event! Businesses open their doors late and shoppers stock up on those holiday gifts! (Remember to order your stock now!)

This is a membership add-on centered around helping you get the word out about any sales or special you have going during one of the Chamber’s Major events.

Remind your customers to fill out their Passports!
Shop Cordova First Passports will be distributed at the Holiday Bazaar to the attendees as they come in the door. Please remind your customers to fill out their passport throughout the holiday shopping season. They can then turn it in during regular business hours at the Chamber Offices/ Visitor Center and one will picked at random late in December to receive a prize!
Why Passports?
Passports help us track the economic impact that Holiday Shopping locally has on our town! Please encourage the use of this great “Shop Cordova First” tool.

When someone makes a purchase while Holiday Shopping at your business remind them to record it in their passport!
