The Cordova Chamber of Commerce created its new Economic Development committee in 2017 with the mission of bringing businesses together to leverage local capacity and grow economic opportunity in Cordova. The group decided that the best way to start addressing the economic development needs of the community would be to provide a forum and opportunity for open discussion among local businesses, organizations, potential new business owners and entities with a vested interest in Cordova.

The Cordova Economic Summit took place April 19, 2018 at the Cordova Center and with morning, lunch, and afternoon sessions for presentations, industry panels, roundtable discussions, and business-to-business exchanges. All local business, organizations and those interested in the economic development of our community were invited.
